Mrs. Margie Tyner
When I was a child, I dreamed of creating beautiful things. Now, I see my childhood desire as a glimpse of what I love the most about my life now; seeing children discovering, creating, and becoming accomplished individuals. My students teach me every day about curiosity, wonder, and determination. I endeavor to inspire students to refine their communication skills, creativity, and analytical thinking skills. It is vital to provide complex challenges that will encourage students to enjoy the productive struggles and recover from failures to enjoy the process of attempting again and digging deeper into their work as lifelong learners.
Before teaching in Enterprise, I taught kindergarten in Florida. Even though I have been teaching since the mid-1980s, I enjoy my career more than ever. My husband teaches at Fort Rucker, and we have three beautiful daughters, six precious granddaughters, and two amazing grandsons. I enjoy spending time with my family. My hobbies are painting, pottery, biking, and hiking.
My parents gave me the gift of a happy childhood, for that, I am very grateful. Even though we moved often, I fondly remember the memories of living in Tripoli, San Antonio, Washington D.C., and Tehran.
