Hillcrest Student Leadership Association
The student leadership association (SLA) is a service organization. This group consists of Team Leaders and Ambassadors. These students work closely with SLA sponsors, administration and staff to design and create service opportunities for the school.
SLA meets monthly during school hours. Team Leaders organize, plan and run the meetings. Attendance is taken at each meeting. Office Referrals and/or two unexcused absences result in removal from SLA.
Current SLA service projects include: Military Appreciation Veterans Day Celebration, Canned Food Drive benefiting Enterprise Christian Mission, Staff Appreciation Gift Baskets, Pennies for Patients, Visits to Enterprise Nursing Home, Bus Driver Blessings and future projects to come.
SLA team leaders and ambassadors focus on a different Leadership Quality each month. The goal is to build a school full of strong leaders with a desire to serve others.
