This is my 1st year at CJHS and I am very excited to be a part of the Eagle family! I previously worked as the 6th- 8th grade science specialist for the Alabama Math Science and Technology Initiative (AMSTI). I also taught high school and middle school science for 11 years in conjunction with running an aquaculture agriscience program at Florala High School. 

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and worked in the mental health field for several years before deciding to become an educator. My Master’s Degree is in Secondary Education and I have spent the last 13 years fulfilling my calling to teach, motivate, and inspire students. 

Originally from Samson, Alabama, I now reside in Enterprise. I have 4 children. Twins Justin and Dustin are grown and have given me beautiful grandchildren, Emily, who is a junior at Auburn University, and Lance, who is a senior at Enterprise High School. I love to travel and spend much of my time enjoying the outdoors.
