Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Tausha Wojtala

I was born in Keene, New Hampshire but raised in Pinellas Park, Florida.  I graduated from Pinellas Park High School in 2000 and joined the United States Army as an Intelligence Analayst.  During my time in the Army I was stationed all over the world to include Germany, Washington State, and Maryland, as well as multiple tours to Iraq and Afghanistan. During my time in the Army I graduated from American Military University with a Bachelors in Early European History. In 2013, my husband (Tommy) & I made the decision for me to exit the military after 13 years to raise our family and start my Masters degree.  In 2019, my husband retired from the Army and my family (three children and two dogs) relocated for the last time to Enterprise, Alabama.  Shortly after our move I graduated from American Public University with a Masters of the Arts in Intelligence Operations with a concentration in Terrorism Studdies. However, I quickly realized that there would be little use for my degree so far away from Washington D.C., and the beltway, so like any good soldier I had to adapt and change my plan.  I am currently working on my teacher certification from the University of West Alabama.

In my free time I enjoy reading, hiking, crafting and gardening.  My family and I like to spend our time away from school in the mountains enjoying the fresh air and hiking as much as possible.  This is my second year teaching Math at Pinedale and I cannot express how excited I am to be a part of your childs education.  I am a life long learner and believe that education is the key to change the world.

Education is the key to unlock the golden door of freedom.  - George Washington Carver

Tausha Britton, a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army, plays a critical role in helping to end America’s decade-long war here. As a reintegration analyst, she tries to persuade Afghan insurgents to put down their weapons and support the Afghan government. Her job, though far from combat, is mentally demanding, starting early and wrapping up around 9 o’clock at night.
