Welcome to 7^th grade math!

My name is Andrea Schapker and I am very thrilled to teach 7th grade Math and 7th grade Accelerated Math agian this year!

The transition from elementary to junior high is an exciting experience, and I want my students to have a fun and successful school year. My hope is to show them that math is all about problem solving, taking risks, learning from mistakes, and giving your best.  

I was born and raised in Germany, where I earned my MS in mathematics. I have taught math classes in grades 5 though 10 for four years before permanently moving to the United States with my husband Brian. Our family has lived in California, Colorado, and Kansas before Brian retired from the millitary here in Enterprise. This is my third year as a math teacher here at Coppinville.

When I'm not working I love spending time with my family. One of my favorite things to do is playing modern board games with my husband and our two children. Other than that, I enjoy reading, running, and baking.

I am looking forward to a successful year in 7th grade math.
